There are personnel changes in MEP Aura Salla’s office. Special Advisor Jarkko Nissinen will step down from his position on February 28 to go on parental leave. MEP Aura Salla extends her gratitude to Jarkko for his valuable contributions and wishes him all the best for the future.
At the same time, the cabinet is strengthened as Sara Anttila joins as a Special Advisor. She will monitor the work of the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and support MEP Aura Salla particularly on research policy, the circular economy, and issues related to SMEs and start-ups. Additionally, she will be responsible for the cabinet’s media relations and communications.
Anttila has previously worked in expert and communication roles and served as an intern during Finland’s EU Council Presidency in 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Åbo Akademi University.
