We use this data for communications and campaign and marketing activities conducted by Aura Salla and her support association, Eurooppalainen Helsinki ry.
For surveys and competitions organized on our website, we store responses to survey-specific questions. Personal data related to responses is used solely for conducting draws and contacting winners. This data is deleted from the website and other systems managed by Aura Salla and Eurooppalainen Helsinki ry no later than two months after the survey closes, except when the respondent has subscribed to our newsletter. Personal data of parliamentary visitors is also used for travel, accommodation, dining, and security arrangements.
The personal data we process is collected directly from you and processed based on your consent. However, data of parliamentary visitors is processed based on our legitimate interest (managing travel and security arrangements). After the visit, this data may be used for campaign and marketing purposes if the visitor has given their consent.
Your personal data is primarily processed by Aura Salla, her assistants, and members of Eurooppalainen Helsinki ry. Additionally, individuals managing Aura Salla’s website may process personal data.
For sending newsletters, we use the MailChimp service based in the United States. Data transfers from the EU to the United States are permitted under MailChimp’s adherence to EU data transfer agreements. For more information on MailChimp’s privacy practices, see here.
Information related to European Parliament visits is provided to the European Parliament, which processes personal data in accordance with its own privacy policies.
Your personal data is retained until you withdraw your consent for its processing. Once consent is withdrawn, the data will be deleted as soon as possible, but no later than one month after the withdrawal request. Additional information about parliamentary visitors is deleted when no longer needed, and in any case, no later than three years after the visit.
